Jared Hadlock, OD
Dr. Hadlock was born and raised in Vernal, Utah. He obtained a B.S. in 2003 from Brigham Young University in Zoology then pursued his lifelong dream to become an optometrist. He attended Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee and graduated in 2007.
Dr. Hadlock has been seeing patients in Montrose & Delta Colorado since 2008. He specializes in primary care optometry with emphasis on contact lens fitting, ocular disease management including glaucoma, diabetic eye disease, macular degeneration, dry eye, and LASIK & cataract surgery co-management.
Dr. Hadlock is a member of the American Optometric Association and Colorado Optometric Association. Dr. Hadlock is passionate about serving the members of the community and looks forward to meeting you. When not sharing his passion for eye care with his patients, he enjoys spending time with his wife and four children. He also loves being in the mountains hunting, fishing, hiking, and camping. He is fluent in Portuguese and conversant in Spanish.
Joseph Peters, OD
Dr. Peters has over 20 years of experience as a primary care optometrist providing full scope medical vision care with emphasis on the treatment and management of ocular disease, pre and post-op surgical care, and comprehensive vision exams for all ages. For 8 years he worked for a major surgical eye center providing extensive care for cataract, glaucoma, retina, oculoplastics, refractive, and corneal surgeries. In addition, he provides the latest treatments for dry eyes, infections, allergies, inflammations, red eyes, and emergency eye care. Dr. Peters grew up in Scottsdale, Arizona and received a Civil Engineering degree from Northern Arizona University, and worked 11 years in that profession. He attended the University of Colorado-Colorado Springs for additional undergraduate work, and received his Doctor of Optometry degree in 1994 from Pacific University in Forest Grove, Oregon. He is licensed in Colorado, Arizona and Montana and is a member of the American Optometric Association and Colorado Optometric Association.
Dr. Peters is married with two grown children, enjoys all sports and outdoor activities, especially fishing, canoeing, hiking, traveling, and golf. He traveled recently to Tanzania, Africa where he provided vision care to 150 students at a remote village school. Having lived in Colorado previously for 15 years and then vacationing here as often as he could, he is happy to return.
Cory Christensen, OD
Dr. Christensen was born and raised in the small town of Salina, Utah. He attended Snow College where he obtained an Associate’s degree and then went on to receive his B.S. degree from New Mexico State University in 2013. Afterwards he moved to Forest Grove, Oregon where he completed his Doctorate of Optometry from Pacific University in 2017.
During his last year of his optometry school, Dr. Christensen completed extra training in the areas of primary care, ocular disease, refractive surgery, and some vision therapy. He enjoys working with his patients, getting to know them, and providing the best care possible to them. Dr. Christensen likes to work with patients of all ages and looks forward to serving the communities of Montrose and Delta and taking care of your vision needs.
Dr. Christensen is a member of the American Optometric Association and the Colorado Optometric Association. When not working, Dr. Christensen can be found spending time with his wife and family. He also likes to be involved with his church and being an active member of the community. He has a passion for the outdoors and loves to go hunting, fishing, and camping in his spare time.
